MAILE MARGULEAS, MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN HER COMMUNITY

WinnersCamp Leader and Punahou Student Maile Marguleas is empowering the next generation to make a difference  in their communities, and working to give homeless youth the same opportunities that she and her peers at Punahou and McKinley have.

Recently, the students were able to secure tablets for youths who cannot otherwise afford to purchase technology.  This will enable Maile and her peers to lead activities with them in regards to forming healthy friendships, building trust, goal achieving, team building, creative projects, and more!

Read more about Maile and her peers recently featured in a great article in the magazine of Punahou School:  https://bulletin.punahou.edu/poised-to-change-the-world/

“I love being a leader at WinnersCamp because I get to influence other teens.  I see where some of them come from abusive homes, drugs/alcohol, broken families…and I want to give back. I have my own struggles but I know I am so fortunate. I want equal opportunities to be given to these kids.”  -Maile
